Pruning

Contrary to popular belief, most trees and shrubs do not require regular pruning to 'thin', 'shape' and 'balance' their canopy in order to maintain their health. However, there are often practical reasons to prune, for example if a tree's branches are impacting your house or growing too low over the street.

Every species has a different structure and growth habit, as well as relative vigour and vitality which is dependent on the type of tree, its age and location on a property.

PanorArbor can help you identify your pruning needs and is always happy to share their knowledge and experience with you.

Tree Planting

Seattle needs more trees. Rapid urban development and a distinct lack of tree protection is quickly resulting in the removal of hundreds of trees, large and small. To help off-set the balance, we must plant more trees.

PanorArbor loves planting trees and often has small saplings on offer, saved from properties around the city, nurtured and cared for until a new home can be found for them. These are always free.

Sensible and well informed tree selection is essential so that your new tree will be enjoyed by you and many future generations to come. We can help recommend, select and install new trees for your landscape that will not become problems in the future.

Tree Health Assessment

It is important to carry out an objective assessment of the current health and structure of your tree before recommending any work.

Trees manifest signs of ill health and poor structure in different ways, some of which are not always immediately obvious. Sometimes a climbing aerial inspection may be more conclusive than a basic visual inspection from the ground.

As the needs of people and of trees vary, PanorArbor can help develop the most appropriate course of action to help both you and your trees alike.
